video games

This is another Mo Manning image I bought recently and I've made a card for a teen boy. This is another make for the stall I have at a summer fair next week, hopefully it will be popular. I've used Portabello road papers and a bunting stamp that was free with a magazine. I'm entering this into a few challenges

Polkadoodles challenge

I've finally got round to using the awesome Polkadoodles CDrom I won during their blog hop and thought it would be perfect to use for their challenges running on the blog. I've made a DL card for a change, it's super simple but looks quite classy I hope :) I've doodled a grey border just in  the corners to frame it.

loads of Digi Stamps :)

I was lucky enough to win a challenge on Papertake weekly and won 7 digi stamps from Bugaboo Stamps so will be having a play with those soon :) I also bought some Mo Manning stamps that I have been wanting for ages but I have a craft stall at my son's old nursery in a couple of weeks so treated myself as I think they will sell really well. This is one of the Mo Manning cards I made and I was pleased with it until my delightful son splashed water all over it with his new water pistol I regret buying him :( You can tell but hopefully it isn't too ruined, what do you think?

Despite the splashes I'm entering it into

Passion for Promarkers - Birthdays
I love Promarkers - Die cuts (image cut out on cameo and punched border)

Neighbourwood owls

My first attempt at sepia colouring and it has turned out ok, I stamped these super cute neighbourwood owls in brown ink and used satin, pastel beige, sandstone and cinnamon promarkers to achieve the soft tones. Also this was the first time I've gone direct to card with no papers or embellishments, but I think the image is so detailed you don't really need a lot more.
The stamp as well as others from the Neighbourwood range are available from Desmet designs, you can like the facebook page here to keep up to date with special offers.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenge

card for mum

I made this card a while ago, using the cloud and fence diecuts I've used before and I didn't want to post two similar cards but I like this one so want to share ;) I use this Lili of the Valley image all the time, swapping it between my mum and mum in law, they haven't noticed yet lol xxx

Desmet Designs Digi Stamps

My dad isn't very well at the moment and he starts some pretty intense treatment next week so I have made him a card to cheer him up a bit. I hope it works as I live quite far away and don't get to see him as often as I like and it makes it especially hard when he is poorly.
I have used this cute owl digi again, the last time I used it it was for a very girly card so it shows how versatile the image is. It's available to download on Desmet Designs along with some very pretty and trendy images like the beach hut which I need to use on a card :) The papers are from docrafts and to be honest are so old I can't remember the name of the range lol! I also used some skeleton leaves I have had for about 4 years and never knew what to do with.
Please visit Desmet Designs and browse the digis available, you will also see loads of fab inspiration from the DT
Thanks for reading

Desmet Designs Challenge - Red, White and Blue

This is my DT entry for Desmet Designs challenge, the them this month is red white and blue. There's so much inspiration at the moment because of the jubilee so get stuck in :)
I had fun with this card going over the top with the red white and blue theme using gorgeous ribbons, flowers and raffia from Desmet designs shop

The sentiment was free with a magazine and I cut the lattice shapes from my Cameo. The red backing paper is Portobello Road from Docrafts
