charisma challenge - peel offs

This was a tricky challenge as I haven't used peel offs in a long time and there aren't many nice ones in my stash. I decided to add some border peel offs to my paper to transform it. I wanted to make chevrons but That would've taken time and patience lol
The digi is from our sponsor Time for Tea, so check out the challenge as you could win digis from them!! Also there is a DT call you could be part of the team if you apply, good luck

shopping

This is a quick post and run as I have a very poorly boy at home and I have no time to write a long post :(
I have used a gorgeous sponsor image from Day for Daisies for my come and get it DT card. The sentiment seemed rather fitting for the image and challenge this week I thought xxx

food glorious food CAGI

This week the theme over at CAGI is food and our sponsor is Bugaboo. I have used a cute cupcake digi from them I had in my stash and coloured with my copics again. I quite like them, I am getting the hang of them a bit now I think. The papers were free with a magazine I can't remember which one though.
Join us over at CAGI this week and to check out the DT makes!!

Digi Choosday for the boys

Eek I am late with my post. Tuesdays are so busy so Monday has me catching up with everything and I forgot to schedule my post. Sorry :/

For my project this week I decided to make something for my boy, Jim has loved Stargazing Live that was on all last week so we decided to drive out on Saturday night to gaze at the stars. I made him a clipboard so he could write all his findings down or draw pictures of the moon whilst we were out and about. I used fab Polkadoodles papers and personalised with a free font from Dafont.com. It isnt the most decorative thing but it is useful and it has Jim's name on so he loves it. I think I get carried away with girly decorative crafting you forget it can be functional too. Anyway he has taken it into school this week as well so it must be loved haha

Join us at Digi Choosday, and treat yourself to a download or two at Polkadoodles, Nikky's designs are really fab and bright. I've had a sneak of the new cd and it is beautiful!!!

I have also used some new Madame Payraud  papers I bought last week from Docrafts, it's a new line I think, I hadn't seen them before and I rather like it :)

So come and join us at Come And Get It and check out the DT's beautiful makes for inspiration xxx

new beginnings

Another new baby card for me this time starring the super cute digi from Polkadoodles and new papers from the Dollie Daydream collection. I have kept this card quite simple as I love the image I don't think it needs much more. I have used mostly ProMarkers on this one but the hair was done with copics.

happy new year

At Songbird challenges this fortnight we are celebrating the first challenge of the new year. I have made an invitation to a New Year's party, keeping it quite simple and elegant. I think it looks quite classy ;) The image is from Sassy Studio, coloured with my copic markers ( I definitely need more practice with these guys lol)

Hope you can join in the challenge and checkout the DT makes, gorgeous as always!

Something New

Over at CAGI this week the theme is Something New, and my something new are my copic markers :) My wonderful husband spent an absolute fortune on two sets of copic markers for Christmas but they are so different to ProMarkers. I really need to practice my colouring it is like starting from scratch again, but I can't argue with the results they do seem to blend better and there's obviously more colours for finer shading.
I have used a cute image from our sponsor Stampin' Boutique and Grace Taylor papers (also new)

So hop on over and join us at CAGI, also check out the gorgeous makes from the DT for more inspiration xxx

Charisma Cardz is 5!!

This fortnight long challenge is celebrating 5 years of Charisma cards. I have been lucky to be a part of the design team for a few months and I have to say I love the team and the challenges are so much fun, I can't believe the blog is 5 already, I have only been crafting for about that long lol!
So seeing as it was a 5th birthday I chose to make this fun kids card using a cute digi from bugaboo, papers from Grace Taylor and some embellishments I found in my stash.
I hope you join in the fun there are some amazing prizes from our sponsors this week!
